Sexual Assault Services

Nationally, one in four women will be sexually assaulted in her lifetime. That is one in four women we all know. Because of the high need, and because navigating through the medical, legal and emotional aftermath can feel overwhelming, YWCA Missoula is committed to providing a safe place to think through next steps, start the healing process and find support. Surviving a sexual assault is not easy, but with support and advocacy, survivors can begin to heal.

You Are Not Alone

No one should have to go through the aftermath of a sexual assault alone. Advocates are available to provide response services to survivors of sexual assault and can be access through our 24-hour crisis line. Services include: crisis counseling and referrals to community resources; support groups; safe shelter; walk-in peer counseling; assistance with personal, legal and medical advocacy. Advocates can also provide crisis counseling and emotional support to friends and family. Advocates also provide follow up and continuing support.

If you have been recently assaulted and want to find out more about your options, call our crisis line at 406.542.1944 or 800.483.7858.

Support Groups
