Mission Statement
To provide the resources, support and education necessary for each woman, man and child in our community to become empowered and live a life free from relationship violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
Philosophy
- We believe in non-violence.
- We believe non-violence begins with the self.
- We believe non-violence encompasses the use of language and behaviors to interrelate, communicate, meet goals and resolve conflicts without overtly or subtly seeking to gain power or control over others.
- We believe the cycle of violence permeates society. Our society perpetuates violence, and it is society's responsibility to end violence.
- We believe each person's truth is individual.
- We believe in the right to make choices and that this right includes accountability for the consequences of all choices made.
- We believe children are people and have rights.
