Our Mission
Planet Kids Supervised Visitation/ Exchange Center is a peaceful, safe, and welcoming environment that encourages positive interactions between children and their visiting parents.
Every year hundreds of adults in our area separate and stop living together. Separation, regardless of the reasons, is a painful process. When the couple has children, the situation is even harder for everyone involved. It is not uncommon for families to need assistance in arranging for and carrying out visitation between children and their parents.
We are a child-focused service that provides a safe and comfortable place for parents and children to build positive relationships. The Visitation Center has two goals: first, to offer assistance arranging continued contact between non-residential parents and their children and second, to provide educational opportunities and resources to parents.
Possible reasons for using the Center:
- a. Court ordered visitation/exchange
- b. History of domestic violence
- c. History of mental health concerns
- d. Abduction concerns
- e. Lengthy separation of child and parent
- f. Concerns about parenting skills
- g. Other child safety concerns
- h. History of substance abuse
- i. Temporary or transitional needs at the time of separation
- j. No contact between parents is desired by one parent or both
Services offered by the Center:
- a. On-site monitoring
- b. Exchange monitoring
- c. Referrals
- d. Parenting Education Opportunities
How to access the center:

- After both parents register, Planet Kids decides if this is an appropriate family for Planet Kids to service.
- Each parent will need to attend a separate orientation session prior to starting visits.
